Soil/Sand Filters

SGW percolation soil is a sand based economical engineered soil blended to achieve good bioreaction(adsorption), good filtration and self aeration for superior final polishing and treatment of effluent never loosing these properties through mechanical movement, compaction or wet weather conditions.

Our percolation soil is tested pre delivery with typical T/P values of 5 to 15,but also sieve and hydrometer tested to ensure correct particle distribution to prevent preferential flowpaths.

Soil polishing filters can be supplied and installed as:

• Raised beds
  
• Gravity fed systems in KIT form including perforated piping, Geo, adjustable distribution boxes etc.
  
• Designed pumped discharge systems.

After extensive research and development, sourcing, blending and in house testing, we can supply Biosand for secondary and tertiary treatment of primary treated effluent.

Course and fine Biosands are all as per table 10.2 CoP 2009 and are all
certified by an accredited certification house.

These can all be supplied and fitted with an integrated designed pump discharge system.
